CO2 bubbling problem

My CO2 bubbling for my calcium reactor is really weird. When i tune it, the bubbling can be very high now, and then it slows down later, and then the next day, it stops bubbling! The water even goes up the tube (dont worry, i have a check valve)....

Is there a problem with the control valve? or the main CO2 tank itself? The control valve is a normal one, should i get a solenoid one instead? or anyone can recommend a good needle valve?

using a single stage or double stage? a double stage is recommended and shd set u off ard $100

U can get solid good one from System Control or just pop by anyplace for the normal taiwan type which is much cheaper.

Yup, just as I suspected, yours is not a step down regulator. It just controls how much is released from your co2 tank.

A 2 stage regulator first reduces the pressure from the co2 tank to 1 bar, and the second stage will regulate what is the release rate.

You need to change your regulator.

Nature aquarium has some rather cheap regulators available.

:)
