What worm is this?

Anyone has idea what worm this is? Came out when i switched off the lights one night. Is it harmful or anything?

looks like a bristle worm.... i immediately soaked my bristle worm in fresh water once i caught it up...

Bristle worms live in the sediment, eat up bacteria and detritus, and produce micro-plankton. In other words, the bristle worm is your friend.

Although there are species of bristle worm that occasionally preys on soft corals, it is almost never seen in reef tanks. Most of the species show up as beneficial scavengers and can become quite lage, up to 20cm in length
