catch a shrimp

can any kind soul out there can teach me how to catch my shrimp out of my tank ? it is always causing stress to my corals by picking on them

what sort of shrimp is it?

if they are cleaner shrimps or fire shrimps, try to lure them into cleaning your hand. when they do that, just grab *gently* one of the feelers and pull them out. (=

hahhaa, i get a red grouper to finish off my damsels, green wrasse & camel shrimps then use a beta box to trap the grouper............blame it on my lack of research b4 buying LS in the beginning.

yah its bought by me when i first started. but i still wan the shrimp... any reefer can help me out ? one sad thing is that my tany is with ocks. i still trying to lure it out with pieces of prawn...

You can try the essence chicken bottle trick............put a piece of prawn meat inside the essence bottle and wait..........

wake up early before dawn breaks, while they still in sleeping mode. net them up. i also wan to get my cleaner shrimps out, does nothing, only eat and take the shrimp out from my corals mouths.

should i place the essence bottle upright or lying on the sand bed. if i place it upright wun in stop the shrimp from getting in ?

Upright, I think. The shrimp should be able to get in, cause these shrimp can swim pretty high. So you just have to hope that it's unable to get out after it ate the food.

i used the chicken essence bottle method to catch crabs.

don't think you will have much luck with the shrimp using the bottle method.

have to agree with terryansimon, if shrimp can swim in, what is there to stop
