hi reefer,

im kenny from BOA. ADAC is the agent for s'pore.the reason they didnt bring in.bcos taiwai only have 110v for the NWP.we have spoke to the boss and still waiting for them to change to 220v.maybe HK and thailand might have.

Hey...Kenny, I have approached ADEC a couple of times and each time their response was 'May not' and 'Most probably not because we still have the venturi ones'...and so forth along that line... B)

Guess this time they have relented. :yeah:

If prices are cheap, I dun see any problems in fellow reefers getting them in Singapore. :rolleyes:

Meanwhile, I will still try to check out the prices.

Meanwhile, if you get a heads up, pls do start a thread in your section and allow

us to purchase from you at attractive prices? :P:rolleyes:

And yes, Taiwan side has already gotten the ones with our voltages. hooray... :yeah:

just heard that they were been packed but the shipment will take some time...imagine from Taiwan till here... :(

The shipment will take abt 7 days, and plus another 3 days for custom clearance, maximum is 14 days all-in-all....

just dun understand why people (not refer to this thread) always blame shipment delay when their goods are not arrived at the promised time! :blink:

If there are so many shipment delays and cannot be tracked/explained...the whole region economy will crash already!

Moreover, I have to confess that I know nuts about shipment from Taiwan as I have so far been ordering my stuff from States and Germany only. :P:paiseh:

Like I say...fellow reefers can choose to buy from you. Moreover, I have also told you I would order from you too if I still haven't gotten the pricings by the 12th. It doesn't matter to me, who is the one securing the deal. And I really appreciate you taking the trouble to co-ordinate everything... :):peace:

It comes with the needlewheel pump but I gonna buy the big one and mod somemore to make it even stronger. :P

Just now, a fellow reefer came to pick up some stuff and mentioned that mine seems to work even better than a deltec, so I wanna see some deltec's skimmate...anyone can supply pics? :bow:

No probs, i am doing all these for the benefit of fellow reefers. Hoping to make reefing a cheaper hobby as it becomes more popular.

Also i am taking the chance that my friend has some shipment coming over. By sharing with him, freight cost can be reduced significantly. So those who want to get anything, i will try to let you all tompang as much as it is within my means. :peace:

not sure about others, but reason why i haven't pen my name on your thread is because flubberina13 haven't gotten her price quotes yet... i think both you and flubberina13 are helpful and sincerely wanted to secure a lower price for the benefit of reefers keen in the skimmer. :bow::bow:

so once the prices are out... (or by 12 Aug) you will see my name on either your thread or flubberina13's .... :lol::lol:

Hi Flubberina and interested parties,

I have some information that the official distributor of MACRO equipment are bringing in the new stocks and these will be seen in the retail stores very very soon. :lol:

As such, it may not be necessary to seek an overseas bulk order if there is now local availability with warranty/exchange guarantees.

SRC advertisers like Kenny from Bio-Ocean Aquarix, has told me that he will be putting up an introductory promotion very soon. Please check his forum for more details later!

Pls bear in mind that I am neither connected to Macro or ADEC in any monetary dealings except as an end-consumer being satisifed with something I have bought... ;)

Pls also bear in mind that ADEC has been the sole distributor of Macro products for quite some time, even if relationships sour or not, there's always this thing called business relationships, you either work with someone you have been working with for ages as trust has been built or get someone whom you can trust...so? :angel:

I only started this thread because fellow reefers have asked me about the skimmers after I posted the 'so-far' only skimmer review about it...maybe I too free to do all this? :(:P

Anyway, I guess people will be calling me foolish this very instance. :(

Hi...I wasn't refering to you. :peace:

I'm just trying to give some info abt shipment from China and Taiwan....else many will think that their port management corporation are so ineffective.....

As for the skimmer, IMHO, it can match the H&S, except that it produces slightly more diluted skimmate, due to the narrower cup design and the original pump is slightly weaker.

The pump can be changed to a stronger one, using the needle-wheel impeller from the original pump, and the effect will be much much better! B)
