Aquaz Actinic Pro

Compared AquaZ's 3ft actinic pro with coralife actinic FL 2ft. I'm not comparing brightness by the way.

Aquaz is much brighter, so much so that can't really see the coral glow. And it is more towards light blue than purple color. Whereas coralife is purplish and dimmer and coral glow is much more distinct.

Well, will just use aquaz actinic to offset the slight yellowish 20K bluepro & 10K (other brand) combination.

Somehow I find that actinic FL will always the best grow effect on coral. Most PL, T5 are rather blue than true actinic. :huh:

my lao-ya digital camera cannot capture coralife actinic properly and worst my FL set kinda spoilt, need to repair.... tough hobby :pinch:

will post if I manage to take some proper pics.

T5 3Ft is 39W and 2ft FL is 18/20W... standard

after 1 month plus.... I can say it is: as good as it gets....

like a speaker... need to breakin than sound starts to get better

if u want a true actinic, u need to get the coralife tube...t5 are much brighter n then intend to be blue...not purple like the coralife

indeed it is blue...but I happen to put it at the back so the brightness kinda reduce and hence does not "outshine" the coral and I can see the star polyp giving very bright green :kiss: and richodea also show nice color.... this was my expression :yeah: (mr wang selling fruits)
