Where to get cheap float switch

Hi,

as above, wanted to get a simple n cheap float switch so that i can diy to a powerhead to create an auto topup.... wonder anyone has any recommendations?

yup... tink not cheap too... shld be more than $60?

hmm... dun noe whether these pumps got relay a not hor?

if not, might as well just buy a float switch for $20 then connect it directly to a pump?

You can get it at Sim Lim tower - at the basement - Can remember the shop name - it is near the escalator. 18 bucks.

yup just bought mine there.. working fine...

Go down the stairs at the entrance into the basement, then on the left there's a shop with LED displays and solar panels, hanging on their racks is the float switch.. 20 bucks retail, bargain to 18 or 19...

I don't own a tubby, I made my own DIY autotop up actually...

Glad that reefer are trying out DIY. Just be sure that the float switch is run on DC not AC. Otherwise you may get electric shock.
