Wayne Rooney enters the changing room on the day of the International match and sees that all his team mates are looking down.

"What's wrong?", he asks.

"Well, its like this", goes Beckham, "We know today's match is important and all, that, but its only against Scotland after all, and it won't be much fun."

Rooney thinks to himself for a while, and being considerate, tells his team mates, "Tell u what; why don't I play Scotland by myself and the rest of u take the afternoon off?"

At this, the England team cheers up considerably, and off they go to the pub for a pint, leaving Rooney to play.

At the pub into their 3rd pint, one of the English players looks at his watch and tells the rest, "Look, the match has started already; why don't we turn on the telly and see how Rooney is doing?"

To their utter disbelief and delight, the score reads England 1 (Rooney, 8th min) and Scotland 0 - Rooney is leading and it's only 10 minutes into the game!

Ecstatic, the squad goes back to their drinking and soon forget about the match.

An hour plus later however, they suddenly remember the match and quickly turn the telly on again for the full time results. And the results read: England 1 (Rooney, 8th min) and Scotland 1 (Angus McShite, 89th min).

The English squad is ecstatic, and they rush back to the stadium to congratulate their team mate for this glorious proof of English superiority!

As they enter the locker room however, they see Rooney on the bench with his head in his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

Mystified, they ask him, "Rooney, what's wrong, man? U just drew against the entire Scottish team!"

Still sobbing uncontrollably and with his head still buried in his hands, Rooney replies,

"You don't understand......

"I WAS SENT OFF IN THE 12th MINUTE!!!!"
