Filter Feeders on SPS?

I have heard a reefer telling me that those are filter feeders...and they could ultimately kill the coral...

NOT SURE IT IS TRUE. I do have a few acro that has this thing...hope it is not that bad... :erm:

It's a burrowing crustacean...something like a barnacle if you know what I mean..I doubt they will harm the coral much as they only burrow into the calcium carbonate skeleton. They're something like christmas tree worms that burrow into porites.

Always something more important than fish.

hmmm. tat makes sense... barnacles... ya come to tink of it, it does luk like barnacles...
