Main worry is that if it will affect water going into the overflow box? Have any clue?

Heard limited production and if come to worst, then order from germany lor and collect it when I go there. Do not know how Tunze will distribute the units...more in the local market first like cars to let the germans to test it out or the other way round.

I have already had a quotation form germany.

From my understanding, an overflow will just dampen down the waves a little (which may not be a bad thing!). Production will likely be slow but should pick up. As Sharkbait mentioned, ETA is likely Dec, late Nov earliest...

will there be a period in the cycle that no water will enter the overflow? that is what I am worried about. Then there will be a cycle of sort in the sump water level and if worst accompanied by 'slurping' noises.

As what I gathered, the box can be tune to a surge height of 2cm for a tank of 1.5m width (minimum or average not too sure)

actually this device is very good in my application as I will be running bare bottom and I don't have to worry about the sand shifting.

Don't know....but the US distributor thinks it should work. Anyway, I think the period will be very minimal as the wave frequency sounds pretty quick. Worried about the slurping sound too but I think it can be overcome by adjusting flow rate down the overflow pipe. Quite a bit of info on RC Tunze forum....
