Getting Rid Of Bristleworms

Recently, I found bristleworms in my tank. Does anyone know of a effective way to get rid of bristleworms?

They are part of the biodiversity in your reef tank. If their population is under control, I'd say leave it. Its a free addition to your clean up crew.

Not exactly correct.

Bristle worms can be the “normal” bristle worm and they can be touched. They form part of your cuc and that’s good as long as you are not freaked out knowing there are worms Inside your tank. But if it is the Fireworm species, then yes, they will “burn” you. So to play safe, don’t ever handle any worms with bare hands.

If you really want to get rid of them, I found that removing the rock from the water, and slowly dripping some H2O2 and tank water mixture onto the rock could drive them out of hiding. But there’s no guarantee. Some worms are too stubborn to come out. Plus you would lose some beneficial bacteria in the rocks. So try at own risk.
