Tubby Floating Switch

Dear all,

Bought a second hand tubby but do not know how to set the float switch to control the water level.

Can you tell me when the switch is activated? Is it when the water float is at the bottom or is it when the water float is right at the top?

When the water level drops causing the float switch to drop.

It seem that the switch will float in the middle.

Does it mean that I should the middle of the float should be at where i want to maintain my water level?
