tink mine is red "Formia milleporella"

it's reef-safe...

got it from ML few mths back

the arrangements actually gave me a big headache everytime i bought a new coral

dottiedag ... just wanna ask u what is your nitrate level ... think u still have space to put at least pne more tube of light ....

hmm... nitrate level long time din test.... tink not on the high side as my algae seem to disappear slowly, tink the DSB is turning operational loh

as for the lighting, the hood is already packed with 2 tubes liao...

no money to add another hood of T5s now leh... maybe some time later lah

thanks for the reply ... i have a two footer , with FUGE and sump , but nitrate on the high side ... stocking similar so wanna check out whether u have fomulae to keep mitrate low .... my DSB working too but slow ...

Nitrates are often caused by overstocking or overfeeding. i hav onli 3 small fishes n corals do not contribute much to the nitrate level....

r u like having more fishes? it will contribute to ur nitrate loh.

another thing might be due to overfeeding, as in overfeed ur fish/corals.... i do not feed my softies specifically....

my recommendation wld be to hav a strong skimmer removes organic wastes before they become nitrate...

tink my biweekly 20% water change helps too
