Whats happening to my Jewel?

OMG!! looks like the tissue is decaying... definitely not normal for Gonioporas to have this layer of slime on it... Better wipe it off the coral and use powerhead to blow off all dead tissue then hope it still has some live tissue in the skeleton to recover and regrow back... :(

Hi all, i woke up this morning to find my Jewel Coral in this state. Whats happening to it? Can anyone explain? It was fine the day before. Is it dying?

what fish shitting on ur jewel? heheheh

Hmmm anyway guys, i throw away that god damned Jewel coral lah. Anyway i dun have fishes in my tank as i am setting up a reef only tank. Its not smelly at all leh when i smelled the slime on the jewel. Anyway thanks for the concern guy. Very much appreciated.

Bro,

suggest you remove it unless your tank can handle the load when the coral dies, I see that some part of the coral the skeleton already showing.... Gonios requires nutrient loaded water, daily dosage of DT might help it to survive better... :)
