ok, e colony isnt small, so this evil creature hides in the deepest crevices...

I dont think chopsticks can get this guy. mi tweezers confirm cannot.

Any chance i can use someting to flush him out?

Try using a needle and pke it right through.

If confirm hairy crab, better you spear him with sharp rod or something. Before it start to feast on your SPS polyps. The bigger ones will also damage the corallites. Personal expsrience. If it is hairy and has luminous eyes, it

but the bugger simply walks further down into the colony. the colony is almost 6inches wide by 6 inches tall...no joke...

i think i will get a pail and try to shake him out. i nid something long and thin. mabbe a wire?

just an update, i got the bugger today and killed it... its a baby all right.....it kept running away and in the end i couldnt pull it out so i i had to crush it.....

feeling quite sad tat i killed it...... its bad for e coral but i am tinking it did no crime la, just doing wat its born to do......

BTW, i use a flexible wire to chase it out where i could get him wif e tweezers.

I just realise my colony came with a fish and a crab .... The crab orange color -- not the hairy type and the fish ... quite interesting about 2 cm and white in color with some pink and red strips on it....

sounds like a clown goby...heard they tend to nip on sps...

You are right typrobin .... i will see whether to remove them or not .. by observing it for another 2 - 3 days ..
