Yup your link is correct. The ES series is replaced by RS. Basically the CS, RS or ES are the same spec except that the way the body is made is different. CS stands for Cell cast, ES stand for Extruded acrylic and i am not sure what RS stands for.

EuroReef is one of those few skimmers using aspirating impeller and which do not remove as much plankton, diatoms and trace elements which is good when getting filter feeds to survive.

Initially wanted to get the CS8-4 but the local agent takes 3 months to deliver and bought the alternative instead.

IMO .. the aspirating impeller skimmer is inexpensive to run and operate.

Quality of Skimates after 3 days

My tank is only 2 x 2 x 13" and my bioload is very small - only 2 fishes. Mostly LPS and some sps. I am selling because my new tank size is more than 100 gal.
