I have a 2.5x1.5x1.5ft main tank and sump (same dimension). How much of epsom salt do i need to dose and how often.

I remember coming across some posting about it but not able to find it. Fellow reefers that use before kindly advice.

:thanks:

RAV-65: Havent got it yet but going to. Did a search on local sites on googles found out that it can be bought at some local pharmacy or supermarket (under cleaning section).

FuEl: Bro, so is it go by drops or by amount (ml). Do you know 1 drop/1ml for how many gallon?

Try 2-3 tablespoons a day and test your levels the next day. Increase your levels slowly so as not to shock any of your tank inhabitants. If you were looking to increase your magnesium levels by alot (eg. above 500ppm) it would be better to do a massive water change.

Always something more important than fish.

Is it safe to dose Epsom Salt? Anyone use it with good result?

Been asking around for quite some time already :( The shop assistants all said that got some problems with the supplier... so most prob the epsom salts u guys bought were the leftovers...
