Glass, Drilling and cutting??

Going to buy a cabinet from a bro here... but he has custom piping leading through the base of the tank. I'm only getting the cabinet, which means I have to get my own 3ft tank and drill custom holes and make an overflow partition.

Does anyone know where I can do this? Am on a tight budget.. I'm looking at 8mm thickness.. I can silicone partitions myself but obviously I need someone else to drill for me...

1. You can't drill glass but you can cut a hole in the glass. I think it's more advisable to bring the tank to the professional to do a good job.

2. Buy expensive or algae free silicon glue. Each about $10/-. DON'T BUY THOSE $1-3 dollars silicon glue.

Hole saw only cost $20++ for a 3/4" hole... And the partition u can use either glass or any strong plastic PVC sheet...

I did all that on my own 3ft tank..

Where as for the silicon gule... buy those industrial type(big tube).. which only cost u $15 + the handler...

You don't saw a hole in glass, you cut a hole.

Anyway, where do you stay. Every difficult for pple to direct you to the nearest location to get the hole cut.

Any body can advice the silicon brand and where to buy.Most of the hardware shop sell the normal $3-4 .

Well found this place at kelantan rd doing custom tank... he quote me 3ft tank with an overflow and 2 holes, 8mm thickness $140... is it expensive?
