DeepBlue
Also wont want to discount the reliability of a few equipment...like 1) JoeP's RM Calicum reactor which has helped maintained my Ca level above 430 and dkh at 10-11. 2) A DIYed 6"wide by 40" tall beckett by a friend... 3) excellent lighting work done by Dr Evil (my 2 X 250W HamiltonTech 14kk bulbs) 4) the reliable 0.5hp Pac Coo chiller 5) RM FR my reactor (used for 6mths liaoz......no more dosing of reef builder )
SRC Member danano Posted August 25, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted August 25, 2004 Tank is looking great! Nice colours too! Have you been able to retain the colour of the red w/ blue tip table (a. hyacinthus)? It's supposed to be a difficult one to keep colour. Btw, what's your CR bubble and drip rate? SRC Supporter Joe_P Posted August 26, 2004 SRC Supporter Share Posted August 26, 2004 DB, Excllent reef and growth you have there.... Looks like a good place to go hunting for frags.... Would be a pity if you ever downgrade....
DeepBlue
Excllent reef and growth you have there.... Looks like a good place to go hunting for frags.... with the amount of acros you are loading into that 2 footer...I thought you wont need any frags anymore Must thank you for the stability of tank water parameter contributed mainly by the RM Ca Reactor....I used to have problem with the Ca level, the dkh level ..now everything is running smoothly, so far I hardly dose anything..... Thats good news... So do I get the opportunity to see some cool DB acro frags in a 2 footer.... Anyway, jus for the update.... my reef crashed jus few weeks ago ... only managed to save a percentage of SPS and transferred them to my holding reef.... I'm fortunate though that the stuff that remains are some of my hardiest and better coloured ones.... And it would help if "some" reefers who assist in the populating of my reef ....
