i took afew kg of sand from punggol beach :lol: . is it save to put in the tank ?

Run through a magnet and circulate with active carbon for a few days...........make sure you dont spot any oil on the water surface.

hmmm u want a bloom in algae? really high sillicate and phosphate content... ;)

so far so gd in my tank got a 4 to 5 in deep sandbed all from pounglo

Selling big game fishing equipment. Stella 20k / 17k .. made in Japan jigging blue rose / kabuzu popping rod... pm for prices

Did you take it a low tide or high tide? Sand at low tide is more "live" and has more beneficial bacteria.

i took it while its low tide, took some sand from the water n some sand up the shore, the sand looks very clean IMO,

but, remember punggol used to be a WW2 site rite ?, hahaha :lol:
