Are Multi Barred Angel Hard to keep ??

Hmm you are not providing info at all.... Bully by tankmate or what does not say whether it is hard or easy to keep......

multi barred angel are rather tough fish to keep..... They can be hard to feed and are rather shy angels.....

Yes, agree with DA, rather shy angels like the Golden Angel.... so may have problems feeding them at all, especially when introduced to the main tank, it may not be able to compete with the more "old bird" fishes for food...

Plse add in some blue sponge at the lower portion of the tank and this will keep them alive till they start to feed on your food. I've Golden Angel which is much-much more shy and it survive on Sponge till now. I can't commend on this Angel being bully, as i've only 1 Angel. The sponge have stay alive for 3 mths + before fully being eaten up and By then the fish is already feeding on left over food at lower half of the tank. My Golden Angel is with me for 1.5 years liao and it seldom swim in the open when lights are on.

That's is a brilliant idea

Don't even have to worry about

1. What lighting suitable? = Electrical bills.

2. Illegal immegrant from LRs.

3. Can clean the glass easily as there is min. blockage.

4. Anytime you don't like the fish can remove easily coz they have so few place to hide.

This fish is very difficult to keep, as i read in some thread that the cause this lovely fish not to eat is because it comes from deep water, but i don't think this is true, as there are quite many other fish comes from deep water like chaetodon burgessi, chae. tinkery, some gobies like purple gobies or fire gobies are told to be live more deep compare to this fish, so i think it because the food is not match, i've been tried and fail, and right now i'm in second chance, it still not eat, but will try open mussel and crush crab claw, hope it will work.
