Torch Coral not opening

I have just bought a torch coral 2 weeks ago but till now it is still not opening? Does anyone know what's reason?

Checked your basic water parameters?

nitrate might be a major factor...do water change...

Check the more important parameters like pH, kH, specific gravity, nitrite. Doubt it's nitrates unless you have ridiculous amounts like 80ppm and above.

Yup, you got to post your water parameters. If not difficult to tell what's wrong.

ur water current is important as well.... make sure your powerhead is not directly pointed to any of your LPS......

I have just done a water change, but still the same and have check the water parameters it is ok. I will add one additional pump to create more current to see whether it is ok. Thanks for your help.

add another pump?? torch, hammer and bubbles dun like strong water flows....moderate water flows to create the waving action will be sufficient...not strong ones...

u might wanna consider your lights as well?

no need intense light...t5 should do well...if placed high, i think pl also can...
