I moved the orange mille up to receive more current

Weileong said it looked a bit fat for a mille

Probably came from a high flow area

Noticed that the birdnest had a damaged branch today

Well, it left a stud that is still adhered to the rock

Guess what? The stud had actually grown into another specimen!!!!

Water had become a little clearer since running ozone for 15mins for 2 days

Going to get the ORP controller in September

Ur birdnest and milli seems to be a bit brown,lets wait and see if they will develop a more intense colour

Haha....the mille is not brown, its just very lightly coloured with white polyps

The birdnest is supposed to be yellow, have since fragged off the damaged tissue

Spotted 2 more worms in the hoeksemai today, not those fanworms but those that have 2 "feelers" sticking out

Here you can see the corallites are actually orange with hairy white polyps

After running the ozone for 30mins for 3 days, I must say the water is unbearably clear. Not much improvement in skimmer performance but generally I see an improvement in water quality.

And finally, for the first time, I get to see some polyp extension from the hoeksemai

Today is a bad day

My CR effluent tube fell onto the floor and water started to spill everwhere.

Lost 2 clams in the process and all other LS are fine.

Also found 2 more worms in the hoeksemai but decided not to remove them. I can also see that the polyps are brown instead of blue which I expected earlier.

Corallites have a greenish hue though and its quite nice.

The frag from weileong had also started to become pastel purplish pink again. For this one, the polyps are blue

I am not sure but they were doing great before the accident happened

Came back to see a pool of water and both clams have shrunken into the shell.

I say coincidence.... nothing to do with the effluent, the Ca cant drop so fast...

Anyway, wat's with the Heok?? Wat worms u talking about?? U got flatworms on it?? How u see???

Found out that those are actually barnacles living in the hoek itself

Looks like those kind of transparent hands which come out and sweep

Going to leave them alone and see whether the hoek will grow over them
