Redone the pipes and no leaks now (thanks for the boiling water part)

Tank looks a little cloudy today. I suspect ionic imbalance. Is this common with new CR setups?

Its doing fine except the base had started to turn slight greenish

Current plans:

Change my lights to 150w BLV 10kk bulbs

Mod the FLs on the fixture to 2x54w T5 blue (still researching on brand)

Hopefully, these will give me enough PAR with a pleasing colour :lol:

Today was a sad day... :cry: :cry:

Due to the thunderstorm on Saturday, my MCB tripped and caused a blackout.

Luckily I was at home and rectified the problem immediately.

But after roll call, found a chromis missing.

Didn't take much notice until today when my "tua hum" was in trouble.

It didn't open much and kept blasting jets of water which created sandstorms.

Finally, took it out and inspected it. Found a chromis inside it :sick:.

Hypothesis: Chromis darted into the clam during blackout shock, got stuck, caused demise of clam as well.

Good bye my tua hum, will miss you always.... :cry: :cry:

Anyway, the clip on light from Ikea is working wonders for me
