Its just resting on the wooden pieces (supposed to be door handles)

Looks like its floating on top of the hood if you look at it in the front though

Thats what I see, I meant aren't you afraid that one of the sides may topple into the water...? Or is there something else below to catch it if that happens.

Ha....its long since I last visited this thread

So far new additions are 2 SPS colonies

One is a luminicent pastel sky blue acro with yellow corallites and the other is a jade green stag with baby blue tips

Just figured that there are 2 acro crabs calling the stag their home

My dad is not back yet so no pics yet *sorry*

Anyway, got a small algae bloom on my sandbed at a corner. Not diatoms though, looks more like brown stringy algae. Maybe its time to change my bulbs already.

Talking about bulbs, you guys think i should change it to a 10k or remain at 14k cause I read that 14ks are killers of SPS colours

yr pic always turns out bulish....Is it because of pic effect of u didnt do any editing??? if so , 10k for me is good for sps ,but duno why , lps , 14k looks nicer.....IMO

Today suddenly the water parameters gone haywire. Calcium shot up to 600+ ppm. Added some magnesium but instead of going down, it increased to 700.

What should I do to salvage this situation?
