What types of wrasses are recommended?

if intend to put both, put in the yellow/canary first, afterwhich follow by six line, the six line is VERY aggresive

But.............. once they are acustomed to your food. Nothing can stop those nudi.

Yeah, good point. My resident 6-line whacked the yellow wrasse 1/2 dead when I first introduced it. After a few days, the 6-line grew bored and left the yellow wrasse alone. Thank god.

I think I'll go get them anyway, better safe than sorry and if there are no nudis, they can be quite a nice addition to the tank

Can anyone post a pic of how a yellow wrasse looks like? From the name it is quite vague

IMO its better to leave the yellow coris in the wild... They travel poorly thus DOA is common... So usually lfs owner will order a huge nos of them(anyway they are so cheap) to amke up for the DOA... SO by that time one reach an aquarist tank and thrive many have already perished... So i think these species of coris should be left to the wild same goes for clown coris.....

They are better candidate for controlling sps pest... try the other members of the helichoeres family.. They travel better and has better coloration... One good exaple i the african irides wrasse... Pity that we seldom receive fishes from africa...

My sixline with for 4 mnth already. I think it more hardy.

They are ok, it tank mate include 2 dottyback, blennies, anthias

and etc.

Do you have small shrimps? I heard it do eat it.
