You know, sometimes I wonder hoe LFSes get such nice looking corals in their display tank while what they sell does not even come close??

If I can get hold of the source, I may be able to have a good brood stock very soon.....

Got some new additions yesterday....too bad no DC to take pics

Added 8 Chromis into the tank

And I found a nudibranch on one of my zoos

All corals I got must go through a strict quarantine/observation period of 2 weeks in my growout tank to monitor any bad hitchhikers and to help some corals recover from shipment

Anyway, I am thinking of changing my return to a higher flowrate pump as My overflow amount now enough. Any suggestions?

what's the size of your overflow pipe?

the red brain coral looks nice...

i think it might have a green centre...maybe slightly bleached?

You mean my Dursos?

Each is 1" size

And regarding the brain, its not bleached but really solid white

Bleached corals are translucent due to the lack of zooxathellae

Agreed. Phoenix bulbs give a brilliant colouring... using the 14kk bulb myself. give it around a few weeks to let it burn in, it will turn out even better...

depends on how large is ur outflow pipe or how many outflow pipe u hv.

Got 2 of them but still don't like the suction
