well yes the hose is light...

but once it's fill with water... I wonder will it be light anymore ???

cause me thinking of using hose too... cause the use of PVC and having to support the weight, I will have to have a long pvc pipe all the way from the floor to the hood of my tank which is not what I wanted...

Anyway I set it in such a way that the hose are not hanging off the back of the tank... rather it sits and leans on the wall and is basically cramp onto the bracing to prevent it from sliding sideways and dropping.

Unless you wanna use hard piping else I guess this is a good solution :P
