Wow...didn't know GAC has such effect on tang. Do you know what is the reason? Lucky I don't use GAC at all.

So is your tank completely ich free now? Meaning already gone through the 6 weeks of fishless cycle?

Missed this post yesterday while posting the photos.

For my 4ft I did not do anything to it, just let the fish ride out the ich. So far so good. Not adding anymore new fish w/o going thru quarantine so should be okie.

The exisiting fishes don't show any signs of ich outbreak so I guess the fishes has already gain immunity.

Will this medication Octozin from Waterlife helps since it's the same as Hole-in-Head disease?

My PrT and Sailfin tang is suffering for these diease and I notice some improving after I complete 1 cycle of the dosing. Will be dosing 2 cycle soon. It doesn't harm inverts and corals. I have jewel coral only.

my sailfin is in terrible sate...much worse that yours...white spots covering most of the fins...

luckily, i only turn on my FR during the 5hrs photoperiod...i set it together with the MH timer...if not, prolly all my fishes up the lorry already...

i think they are stresed out by the SUDDENLY-SUPER-CLEAN water....hhahahaha...

I think they are stressed by the H2S released from the FR when you stop running it for 19hrs.
