Hi Fellow Reefers,

Would like to ask for advice on how to decomm a 5ft tank.

Condition:

* Apartment

* No live stocks but full of water, sands,rocks, and algae

The thing is if I empty the water the tank is going to be very smelly and dirty and got to live with that until engaging mover to dispose.

Any bro here has experience and can advice best way (steps)?

I decomm my 5 ft a few years ago as I shifted house.
I removed all the water (at the same time washed the tank - hence no smell)
I took out all the sand (and threw it away as no one wanted it).
The rocks, I took them out, washed, and left them on the sun for a few days.
Hope this helps.
