Any idea how much a double digit number for a car license plate will go for during the LTA bidding?

Depends on what kind of double digit number....."88" would be a hot one for sure. While "92" or "73" would probably cost the minimum $1000 as these numbers are not considered hot. Your car salesperson serving you should be able to give you the best estimate.

Thanks for the tips!

Are 25 and 50 considered as common numbers?

Bro,

Numbers considered lucky to Tow Kays are the most Exp. Eg: those with 2, 3, 6,8.

Followed by those numbers linked to car models. Eg: 318, 95, 93, 520, 55

Double doubles are also Exp. Eg: 33, 77, 99.

Single numbers are exp regardless of number.

Cheapest is 4, 44, 444, 4444. Even 13 cost quite a bit. 58 can be quite cheap, except when any bidder surname is 'Ng'. This is Chinese society what. :P

25 and 50. If not very special to most people, then can try for a few dollars more than 1000.

I think (marine) therefore I am

I'm not familiar with this so can someone list all the auspicious numbers so I can avoid competing unecessarily with the towkays out there for the numbers?

my uncle bought EE 50 A from some guy at $4000++ ... but from LTA would most definately be different.. not many ppl would want a 50 for a number... unless its a Ferrari F50... :heh:
