Airstone (produce fine bubbles)

I am looking for airstone that can produce very fine bubbles.

Do you have any recommendation of what type to get and where to get it?

those sanders wood kind of airstone or any wooden kind of airstone..

very fine bubbles i think

but you must change it more often than the other types...coz it disintegrates in time

can get from petmart

yeaps...the wooden ones...but it will get "mouldy" in no time. Used to be changing it like twice a month (add a valve to control the output).

Try sera ceramic airstone, but those require a hi-blow pressurised air-pump to produce good amount of air.

The most it can make kopi-o is 2 months,

I have a Prizm Skimmer that never produce kopi-o. I have the skimmer for 6 months.

I hope that by doing some mod to the Prizm Skimmer, I can get kopi-o.

How is the effect of your $4airstone? My protein skimmer is not performing like yours too.

but the bubbles produce muz be small if i am not wrong , if the size of bubbles generated is big , i think kopi o is still quite far ...

again if it work pls tell us , because i believe some of us are using prizm and would like to increase the performance of our skimmer ....
