Green goniopora polyps lying on the sandbed

Anyone can advise what is happening?

My green goniopora polyps is on the sandbed as attached.

 

Current livestock:

Yellow Tang

White bellied yellow wrasse

Firefish

Abalone

Turbo snail

Bumble bee snail

• 60cm x 45cm x 50cm tank

• Chiller at 25 to 26 Celsius

• OASE Biomaster 250

• 75W lighting

• Jebao SOW-5M Wavemaker

• RODI water with 25% weekly water change

• no protein skimmer/ no calcium reactor

Livestock

▪︎2 Ocellaris Clown

▪︎1 White Bellied Yellow Wrasse

▪︎1 Yellow Tang

▪︎2 Green-Blue Chromis

▪︎1 Orange Spotted Goby

▪︎1 Tailspot Blenny

▪︎1 Tiger Pistol Shrimp

Sorry to say this but it does not look happy, the white patches are actually skeleton where tissue is no longer covering it. When you first got it, did it come with the patches?

assuming your water parameters are all ok, might want to consider moving it to to a lower light & flow area & see if it extends its polyps more

When I got it , it did not cover with white patches.

It has been striving well for past few months with extensions.

My water parameters seems all good and its quite sudden I see this.

I heard gonio needs to be fed.

Could this be reason?

Any chance it will recover and revive if moving to other areas?
