Galvanised Metal Stand Or Wooden Stand...

I have two good option of stand... Galvanised Metal Stand and Wooden Stand... Need some opinions... Not sure which will be more reliable... Advices needed...

Go for the wooden stand. I believe that the metal stand will rust, galvanised or not!

The stand is one of the most important item in your setup. Imagine the metal stand starts to corrode after one or two yrs and at that time your reef is already very stable. It is no joke to change stand. So go with a wooden one

suggest you go for wood .... chenggai wood.

as for me, the stand is actually concrete blocks and the base frame to stand the main tank and sump tank are of chenggai wood.

Make sure the wooden stand is made with the proper wood also. Like my current wooden stand dunno make with what wood the center part start to bow a little so no choice got a center beam to reinforce it.

hmm i told my dad tt a wooden stand is better and he told me im crazy he said tt having a real think WI stand and placing a think piece of wood on the stand under the styrofoam is much better according to him.... well tt is his opinion

nw i dun noe whether to go with a wooden cabinet or go wif what my dad suggested and build a mock cabinet to cover the stand later

than wat about the stainless stand against the normail WR stand?

was quoted for about $178 for a stainless steel stand for a 3ft
