Hi guys,

I bought the Alpha Premium golden pearls (5-50 microns) but I'm unsure as to how much of it to feed into my tank... coz mine is a mixed tank with mainly LPS rather than SPS... what's a good ball park figure?

My tank's about 200l or 55gals...

Thanks a bunch

Ervine

PS: Does this size of golden pearls also feed my clams or other filter feeders? Maybe maze brain or monti cap?

ervine,

To me, I just take a teaspoon and mix it with water in a mineral water bottle.

I pour some here and some there. I do it when the MH lights goes offf for half an hour. The blue light will remain lighted during the process

Do not know is this method right or wrong.

GP floats......best to get those big syringe(shared by BOSS)....

1) after you mixed the GP with some of your tank water...

2) stir it and use to syringe to spray gently at the corals you want to feed ;)

Normally just mix it with DT and mix with tank water, stir then pour it in front of the power head... then realize some of them float. never really see whether my LPS really take them in or not. <_< lazy lah... shall try spraying directly at them to see if its better...
