Looking For Dead Rocks/Cheap Live Rocks

I'm looking for dead rocks or cheap Live rocks for my FOWLR. Doesn't need to be encrusted with coralline or anything. What matters most is that it is porous and cheap

Is dead rock mean uncured rock?

dead rock essentially WAS liverock just that it is dried out, has no coralline algae encrustacean or any hitchhikers. They also do no have nitrifying bacteria on it. Usually sold dry.

that mean if you are setting up a new tank and to save some cost,dead rock can be use to cycle.

yep. the bacteria can still colonize the rocks and the rocks can eventually function as biological filtartion media. However this is coupled with the fact that there will be no coralline algae encrusted. and no hitchhikers such as pods, worms, snails, mushrooms/some softiesz etc.

Coralline algae encrustation wouldn't be a problem for me as I'm using it for FOWLR. I will dose Kalk and maintain calcium and Alkalinity and also sed the tank woth some coralline from my reef tank. this will help the coralline alage grow in my FOWLR.

haha no problem

coralline? u get one piece of the normal liverocks with some Coralline algae and put in your tank. Scrape some of it off the liverock using penknife.

saw their liverocks before selling range over time from $14/kg to $5/kg now ... they have great liverocks lots of coraline algae most of my live rocks are from them ..
