Parasite on Cleaner Shrimp

I discovered that there was a white patch on my cleaner shrimp yesterday and did a search on Internet. It is known as an isopod.

I decided to search for a remedy and found 2 or 3 videos on YouTube.

It requires removing the isopod from the shrimp.

So I tried it out and removed this from my cleaner shrimp. According to the video, shrimp should be OK. Let's hope mine survived.

My shrimp survived and is alive and kicking in the tank.

I have 1 shrimp which have the same issues. but I'm having a hard time catching him, any tips on catching the shrimp out?

Sorry, Jane. Just saw your post.

My shrimp was greedy and loves coming towards my hand. So I managed to grab it.

They seem to be attracted to food and will "attack" the food. Try a net with food in it.?
