My firegoby died 5 mins after leaving LFS

Juz had a shocking exp. Bought a firegoby fm Re#0r#.....

5 mins at the kopi-tiam ....it died..

Lucky that curly hair guy allowed a refund...wat a exp...

any1 had a similar exp?

Probably went into shock upon packing.

Who did the packing? Did you take water from another source or did you take water from the same tank?

nope , in fact it was hiding in one corner...was the last one there, i like firegobies so tot will get one more..but ........hmmmm..

In fact , it was still ok when i put it in the pail , but i din noticed it was lying down , although my coli asked me is it dead....haiz ...told him it 's juz being stationary in the bag ...hmmmm

lucky guy u tiger!!!! my friend got a Sohal Tang, got home died in 1/2 hr, may be his tank is real toxic..... sometimes cant blame lfs...... at least some is fair enough for refund

You are lucky that they give you a refund.

In fact they can blame you cause anythings could had happen once you left the shop.

I had same experience except with a 2.5 inch naso. However, it died while I was acclimatising it. Float bag in my tank to equalize the temp for 15 mins, took out 1/3 water fill in my tank water and float bag in water... repeated that twice with 20 mins interval. Third time did it, watched tv then return and the fella was dead. Was really shocked with this. Still dun know wat went wrong. Tank parameters ok, have healthy stock of yt, pt, bt and they all do ok. Imagine flushing that beauty down the toilet! Before flushing still press press the chest c can resusitate! Mmmm... maybe shouldn try CPR!

RB has a big tub at the packing corner where buyers will get the water from there when they are buying fishes. So I don't think the firefish died in the same water environment.

Personally, I don't like the tank's water either, esp when there are dead fishes in the tank.
