What is your flow rate (TOTAL) ?

I am just wondering bro/sis configuration about flow rate with your tank.

Let say, given sump+main tank what is the your total flow rate ( Rated @ PH/Pump )

I just want to conclude acceptable average flow rate. This would help to all the ppl here to adjust.

Say my tank is

3x1.5x1.5 sump 2x1.5x1.5 Total 250L Flow Rate 5,000 L/Hr

I usually rely on 5 to 10 times the volume of the tank.

in your case, 1250L/H to 2500L/H real flowrate (not exactly what is rated at PH/Pump) shlould be sufficient.

Any way to calculate head loss and flow rate lose ?
