SRC Member vicky Posted June 13, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted June 13, 2004 hi i got a a Brown marine plant with brown or dark greenish leaves with air sacs stuck to it .i check in the internet saying it is a marcoalgae . i pluck from sentosa beach shoreline ,wash it and then stuck it to the sand now wonder it is harmful anot? it is a plant with leaves and air sacs in it growing from a small rock . care to know the species and help me diff marcoalgae harmfuls and non harmful . The questions is how fast can it grows, and implication how likely the algae going asexual which might be harmful to the tank..... my two cents...
