might be better if u get some glass cutting factory or tank maker though. oh ya, need to drill or cut hole at the cabinet also leh;)

me thought of doing so...BUt after took out the drill...Got no guts ....Scared the whole based crack and thats it...You might want to ask some experts or tank maker to do it for u ..

Just did mine with the help of a reefer and I drilled a hole through my cabinet...

As long as yours is not tempered glass, should be alright with the necessary precautions taken...

But one lesson to learn...drill a bigger hole in your cabinet...I drilled a hole using the holesaw drillbit and then I realised that the hole just fitted nicely and ended up I got to use a fine drillbit to drill around the circumference in order to widen it...
