eng not good enough to win dont have rioferdinand already a problem,now dont have john terry sure abig problem..

just hope that england strike force can keep than alive..but i doubt so..

their midfield is good beckham gerrard lampard scholes.. should be able to match the french midfielders..

but again..henry is a god dont forget!!

I think its a draw. screw big class names and players and world class Gods like Henry. this is the first match of Euro 2004 for the two teams, and it is too much of a risk to go guns ablazing.

if you want to factor in such factors, do remember that France still has to exorcise the ghost of the humiliating exit at World Cup 2002...they didn't score a goal, and only had one point after three games. excuses like Henry wasn't fit and Zidane playing at the last game can be used...but a half fit Beckham lead England to the quarter finals before David Seamen goofed up a Ronaldinho cross. so probability of Murphy's Law happening is 1.

I say it'll be a draw. too risky for anything to happen. maybe you'll see a surge from both teams in the first twenty minutes and last fifteen minutes. important matches tend to go like that.

by the way, I'm an England fan *I'm half english damn it* but I'm giving you a very neutral point of view.

I support England too, but den again, they always screw up during tournaments....

So, its gonna be France I tink, they are too good for England...

I think France will win too, will be interesting to see how Campbell stops henry though, arsenal mates... but i think the best part will be the midfield battle... imagine (Zidane, Pires, Makelele, etc) vs (Gerrard, Scholes, Lampard, Becks) *slurp slurp*

Better be more exciting than Portugal vs Greece, fell asleep before the 1st half even ended... either match too boring or my sleep pattern haven't adjusted..

suddenly moments of magic or sheer luck can just turn the whole game around...

if i betted tonight, would have probably lost a bit...

coz i would have bought france-france which i will lose

but would have covered back with a france win..which just paid 1.98

so would have lost about 0.02cents on every dollar betted assuming i bet the same amount for both slips..hehe
