PVC parts

hi guys, i wana get PVC parts to make a casing for a prefilter. it will look like a normal calcium reactor.

very simply, i just need a PVC tube (transparent) with 2 caps.

can i know:

1. where to get them?

2. how to seal/any shop does e welding/sealing for u?

there is no transparent PVC tube... only in grey or white.. da former is in metric while the later is in imperial... i think what you want would be those arcylic type of tubes.. you should be able to locate them in most hardware shops in Jln Besar that sell tubings or plastic materials...

If you wanna seal the end up.. then you might wanna think of silicon.. its one of the easier method.. unless you wanna be more creative and then just V-butt the end and then drill holes and screw it down with an O-ring as a sealant.. this of course would be more work but then it would be leak proof..

What exactly will it look like.. why dnt you post a pic here and I will see if I can advise ya further.. Good luck and have fun....

Instead of end cap.

You should get a socket and a screw cap (I think thats what it is called).

not really cheaper, the price is comparable. I used PVC because it's alot more sturdy. I've have also experimented clear acrylic tubes, they look better but weaker.
