No skimmate in remora skimmer

How long does it take for the skimmer to break in? A week or two?

What I know is that higher salinity will help in producing more foam bubbles.

Besides that any other related factors for the skimmate to break in? (e.g. KH level, etc.)

when did u get the skimmer running? i'm using the aquaC urchin, in-sump version currently and it took just 1 day to break in...but i adjusted the black rubber band such that the collection cup sits at its lowest

yes hippo, do adjust the black o ring on the collection cup to the lowest. then slowly make ur fine adjustment from there.
