WTS Ice Probe

I have the ice probe with temperature controller only three months old. i have this with me for my marine tank but since no time with this hobby. it works for 2feet and below only. It can cool down to aby 22 deg.. it is for sale at $170 ... only 12Vdc...

can place it on top of ur aquarium... Its includes a manual/auto temp controlled fan with a more powerful power supply to power this machine(means faster coolig of tank and stable temp)... it does not drop ur tank water much as it does not use the evaporation way of cooling ur tank...

what is your room temp when it was cooled down to 22 deg???? what is the lighting level for your tank....

can we have a pic of it in action on the tank ? so we know what to expect...

Just to ask what is an iceprobe?

How does it operate?

Any pictures so i may be able to figure out.

With a chiller, can i add this in so that the chiller wont work so hard?

if i am not wrong its one of those fan thingy that looks similar to how a CPU fan works....a large heat sink transfer to the fan which blow out the heat....

Heard of it, but have never seen how it is hooked up....so very curious....

also i suspect this type of device is very dependent on room temperature, so i will be quite interested if it can indeed cool to 22c under our 'normal' singapore temperature....

It is running on 12Vdc and there is a knob to for temperture control.

The hole can be easily drilled through a plastic or acrylic wall using a standard hole saw available at most hardware stores. An experienced glass cutter should be consulted for bulkhead installations in glass aquariums. Alternatively, a simple bracket or lid can be used to suspend the Aquarium Chiller for top mounting in glass aquariums.
