Dear all,

Just bought 2 timers at Carrefour for $5.9 each. Saw the same model with just brand different selling at NTUC for $18.9.

I have been using another 2 of the same timers for the past 4 months and they have been working fine (also bought at Carrefour for $7.9).

those analog kind?

is it noisy??

It will be good as a wave timer..

for lights, digital one will be better n more accurate.

It is the analog type.

So far I have not heard any noise from it. In terms of precision, it is programmable to the nearest 15 mins.

juz wondering whether u bought the same kind of timer that bro vinoth bought some time back (u can do a search on this in SRC), his experience was that 3 out of 4 timers broke down within a week.

juz me 2 cents.

I got the exact same model as him.

I have been using it 1 for 2 x 150W MH and another for actinic lighting. So far still ok.

I intend to use the new ones for my plankton culture. I will monitor.
