How to Rescape my tanks

Hi, need to know what i need to doif i wan to rescape my tank?

Here are so question...

1 - What are the things that i need to prepare?

2 - Will it affect the water parameter?

3 - Do i need to re-cycle my tank?

4 - What should i do for the LS?

1. depending on what you want to do. if you want more lr, buy some more lr lah. preferably another tank for your ls.

2.if you do not stir up the sand bed or change the water there will not be much change.

3.no, if you are using the same old coral chip or clay from your previous filter system, also it is best if you use seawater from a reliable source to change water.

4.put them in another tank that is well cycled if you plan to take a few days for the rescaping, otherwise if you are just going to arrange the rocks in less than a day, put them in a tub with seawater and add a power head or air stone. remember to acclimatise them again later when you put them back.

Tks, i'm not going to add any LR just changing the scape, trying to move all the LR to the back of the tank. Here's a pic of my tank now.

So that means i just need to put my ls to a tank. can i use the water of my tank now??

Me and my home affair minister love to rescape my litter 3' tank here and there ( like once a month ).

When we do rescaping, we took out LR than Coral and follow by LS.

B4 anything, we sucked out 2 basket (15L each) than put all LS in one and corals in other.

Have a big baby birth tub to hold all LR.

Rescape with or without water ( without mean save all the water in the lot of container lar ).

Refill water ( saved water ) and top up whenever necessary (Mixed in advance ).

and LS went in to action.

The whole thing took about 3-4hrs and so far every thing all right.

We have done that a few time.

Only my finger coral will take 3-4 days to back to normal. The rest sign "We got new home" when I back on MH,

minsmarine, is the 20K Mh too blue for your tank?

It's kinda blue , but I love blue so far.

It's blue from far, near is quite white. So depend on where you are at.

Mine is BLV 20K without PL but have 2x30w Holgon light

woah. back breaking work to rescape monthly! I do once also scared already.

Well not so, cause I got hand from ministry of home affair she would assist me in passing rock , checking everything alright. And still late till 3 AM to finish thing

yes . just make sure you wash it.
