its insoluble precipitation....never encountered it before, but I suppose a water change wouldn't do much to help it become soluble.

hydrgoen peroxide? dosing too much will lead to lots of white power like stuff in your tank and it will be floating every where..On the surface of the water

lol Hydrogen Peroxide H2O2 is darn poisonous Reducing Agent man..

It will precipitate CaCO3 make your water cloudy, might clog up the pores of your LR and bio filtration media rendering it less efficient.

The most damaging effect of kalk overdose is the sharp rise in pH. It can damage the gills of fish and 'burn' corals. Calcium precipitation will probably be corrected by a large water change to restore balance.

Check your pH, Ca and KH.

I assume the precipitation has not occured

If pH too high do water change to tone down the pH.

If Ca too high stop dosing any Ca and CO3 stuffs, you can get by and not change water if Ca level is not too high.
