I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth after seeing such comotions.

Sorry ckpeh, I was one of those that "areoplane" you. Not because of what I read this thread or I have found out that there is others selling cheaper. But beacuse my brother have already bought it liao.

In fact, all the while, I have been buying from Petmart but when I saw your post, I very much wanted to buy from you. Not because, I saw a bargain but because I know there must be a very good reason why a fellow reefer wanted to sell there salt and I just want to offer my support.

I feel that we should give him a benefit of a doubts than thinking that he is out making a profit. Besides there are also lots of places that sell it more than $60.

Thanks guys for the support... I cant remember the actual price of the salt and can only price according to what i see in overseas website. ... As a SPS fanatic, I have many spare items (including spare chiller, spare bulbs, extra tub of salt, ...) which I bought as back up and I cant really remember their prices.

I think one main reason that I want to leave this hobby for good is that there are too many of the mean and petty reefers around,

I dont really enjoy reefing as previously when there is not so much commercial interest too....

So sorry to hear that you are giving up the hobby. I know that you have invested a lot by looking at the equipment that you purchased. I actually wanted to buy over your CR but guess was a little too slow.

Anyway, I don't think you should quit a hobby because of other mean and petty people. There are always mean and petty people around outside of the hobby too, so you should not let it deter you from enjoying the hobby.

Hope you will come back to this hobby one day again like I do now.

I have reserved items for them and some have changed their mind too... I just dont want to name names as some do have good reasons to change their decisions.

If I post "reserve" for u what's the guarantee that u will show up too?

I have received your sms today but I was in KL and just back home now. Sorry didnt reply as not convenient.

I am just very afraid of the way u handles businesses. When u really want to sell, deal is deal. Dont later sms me back "how" after I have sent out re-sms after certain time later. Pls treat business seriously, promise is promise and deal is deal.

I will collect the salt from u on Sunday noon as I dont want to purposely gone down to your place and later there is no salt. It happened to me before when I was buying a Ricordia few mths back. This guy gave me the reason that his bro sold it. For your info, that day I was thinking going down to your place within that day. And later after all that sms, I went to buy my tub of salt in a shop, which is cheap. But I will still buy from you to be on the honourable business guy. i will sms u back now too. Lets settle it.

PS: I hope this is a really a backup salt as u have said and not opened yet.
