Took over a deepsea acro colony from a fellow reefer today. Turns out it was stning from the base and looking at it, the turnout was quite bad

Fragged the top few good pieces and glued it to a rock. Color used to be yellow but now looks bleached and has dead tissue patches all over it. Left it in the tank for now and hoping for a miracle it recovers fully.

Nice. What’s the lighting schedule like? These orphek bars are not controllable right

Blue Plus Bars are turned on from 10am - 10pm while the Reef day bars are turned on frm 11am - 8pm. Yeah these bars are non controllable but nevertheless still very awesome lights

Added two new fishes tdy, swallowtail angel from seasonal aquarium and golden angel from SAS. Very beautiful fishes and was searching for them for many months already so quickly bought it. 🤣 Hopefully doesnt develop a taste for corals, will keep it fed fully with seaweed and pellets.

Tank has been doing really well the past month. So far 9 months already without water changes. Water is still crystal clear without any tint of yellow or green. Topping up trace elements with Tropic Marin's A and K elements together with balling method. Here are some pictures of the corals flourishing. I don't really spot feed my corals, except I do throw in coral frenzy once a week for the corals to have a treat, the rest is just nature taking its own course
