Dudes,

Just obtained a Shoe Horse Shrimp from Marine Life a couple of days back.

Anyone has any experience with them. They're not much to look at but quite oddly shaped for a shrimp bout the size of a finger nail.

this bugger really like to hide though :fear:

Good luck bro... this shrimp is a terror. Horseshoe shrimp is also know as marble shrimp. The male look really cool with big hairy claws. I personally witnessed mine dive its sharp claws into my mushrooms and spread them apart in 'frog-style'. I could not believe what i saw, but my mushrooms spit blood right after the move! I have once shared my experience on arofanatics.com about this specimen. Another one u may want to avoid is the anemone shrimp. This shrimp can come in various colors and may be very tempting for unsuspecting customers. But this bugger will disturb most of the LPS in search of a host. The anemone shrimp is a lot harder to catch than the marble shrimp. The above opinion is only through my own experience and does not represent all. U may be lucky to own the shrimp that does not display the above mentioned traits.
